This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
I sent this to the suggestion thing at the help desk. I am certian it will be ignored or I will get a generic thanks for the idea but no note. So many good deviants have been leaving and not showing thier art anymore and lets face it...THAT F*CKING SUCKS
I have an idea on how to meet both sides of devarts current issue. 1. Install a deature that allows deviants to set a warning when people go to thier page. Not for every single deviation you click on just have it be a one time deal and have it keep track of a list of people you agree to see. If you agree to see them then you cant really whine about it. This would be an awesome feature to help people who like to do nude art. I realize this is alot of work but it's an idea atleast. 2. Is to loosen up some or create an adults only section of devart. If it comes down to that then fine. I love my art and I love looking at other peoples art and that would not be a real issue for people who are here for art. As a bonus to that idea it could stop underage kids from viewing mature content. If you want to enforce it make the person enter the last 4 numbers of thier credit card and what company it is. Would it suck. Yeah. Is it better then getting peoples stuff pulled. Definately.
Most people say they dont like nude art because they are offended by it. If they are offended by it my idea would stop them from seeing it. I do not like the idea because it seems to split devart, yet I ahve seen no better idea's
I am going to go pass out now.

Allow me to be frank with the commencement. You will not like me. The gentlemen will be envious and the ladies will be repelled. You will not like me now and you will like me a good deal less as we go on. Ladies, an announcement; I am up for it, all the time. That is not a boast or an opinion that is bone hard medical fact. I put it round you know. And you will watch me putting it round and you will sigh for it. Don't. It is a deal of trouble for you and you are better of watching and drawing your conclusions from a distance then you would be if I got my tass up your petticoat. Gentlemen, do not despair, I am up for that as well and the same warning applies. Still your cheesy erections till I have had my say but later when you shag, and later you will shag. I shall expect it of you and I shall know if you have let me down. I wish you to shag with my imoncular image rattling in your gonads. Feel how it was for me, how it is for me. And ponder, was that shudder the same shudder he sensed? Did he know something more profound? Or is there some wall of wretchedness that we all batter with our heads at that shining live long moment. That is it. That is my prologue. Nothing in rhyme. No protestations of modesty, you were not expecting that I hope. I am John Willmet, Second Earl of Rochester. And I do not want you to like me.
It's obvious you have an idea of the direction you want to go with your photography, so stick with it and do the best with what you got. There are some people on this site that swear they are the "end all be all" of DA, don't let them get to you. No matter what it is, it is your work and that is all that matters. If you ever have a question about photography give me a shout, I'll help the best I can.

Since you missed the point (probably my fault since i get very angry about people who use the wrong categories) I'll point it out. These shots would be better put in either the Snapshots category or the Scraps section.
If you want some suggestions they'd be:
Less Clutter- The model is the focus of your shots so don't make her look cramped up unless you're going for the "sleazy hotel" look.
Lighting- We've established that you're working on it so that's a good thing.
Picture Quality- I'm not sure what camera you're using but it seriously does look like a webcam because of the graininess and the general washed out look.
Poses- These are important. At the moment you've got dime a dozen poses that every camwhore pulls thousands of times a day. Try something new. From the looks of things you've got a rather nice bed there, drape her around the posts a bit and keep the background simple and you've got something more interesting to look at than random snapshots.
Borders- Frame your pictures, they'll look much tidier and less casual if you do. Even putting borders around what you have here now will help the overall look a lot.
So there's some tips. And please be a bit more careful about which categories you put things in.
Thank you. I was actually trying to do something artistic not just snapshots. Each pose took between three and five minutes to set up and was shot at about 8 differant angles. From each shoot I discarded most of the photos. Alot of the color problems can be named as my inability to use my editing software well. I will try to improve but if you look at some photos I have taken where the light was good and I didn't screw up photoshoping it they arnt bad. Granted there is only one or two but its a start.

You might like =cziiki 's work. He does a lot of different stuff but occasionally adds to his "Motel Room" series which seems to be similar to what you're going for.
p-shaw! If the bastards aren't going to say anything helpful I say to Hell with them.
I actually do like Archon's stuff. But having absolutely no experience with digital art, I have no clue how difficult (or simple) it was to create. It could have taken days, or it could have taken a few minutes with 2 or 3 clicks of the mouse. And kimichan has some nice stuff too. Plus, she's hot.
But their comments are less than productive. Being a new photographer myself (after DECADES of thinking I wasn't good enough to do it), I know how detrimental it can be to receive negative input that seems to have no other point than to keep you from even trying to continue and get better. You gotta keep trying; you do get better with experience.
Most of your stuff is crap, quality-wise. But with a better camera a couple of your shots would be downright good. But I am not a "camera elitist". I wouldn't tell you to stop trying until you can afford to buy much better equipment. Saying that would be another way of trying to keep you down. This ain't a country club; there shouldn't be any Minimum Entrance Fees. Use what ya got, til you can get something better. I got serious about photography a year ago, and you already have something valuable I don't have: a cute female who is eager to model nude for you without having to pay her $100/hr.
Keep doing what you do.

Your photography would be better suited to myspace. Like someone else mentioned, there's no attention to quality or style at all, they're just badly done snapshots with poor lighting and no sense of space or, well...art. They're exactly like the thousands of other camwhore pics posted to the internet everyday.
At least put them in the Snapshot category where they belong.
